I finished this block on our trip to Boston but haven't gotten around to blogging about it until now. I chose to add the Iris because it is a flower I love and it tends to bloom around our wedding anniversary. The Iris symbolizes faith, wisdom, valor, hope, light and power. It leads us to higher inspiration and psychic purity.
At the root of the Iris I added more treasures for the bounty the ocean can bring to us with it's life giving nature.

I don't know how I missed this post, Angie... Sorry... The finished iris is so beautiful and I'm beyond blown away by the picture of the whole piece. What an amazing journey you are on here and what a blessing this commitment to yourself must be for you!!!!!
