Journals, Keeping Track of the Journey
Here there are 3 months of journals all worked on at the same time. I also made the cards for these months at the same time. Since I will be traveling for 1/2 of Nov and all of Dec and hopefully getting a husband back sometime in January I have a feeling that my next 3 journals may likewise get worked on as a group. I will take my camera along so I will have during photos although it will be interesting to see how easy or hard it is to keep up on the blogs while I am traveling. The writing shouldn't be hard I am just not sure about the photos. will see how it works out when the time goes. I am learning new tricks on the Mac and with it my tags are a good place to try new things.

My gosh, Angie -- those journals are every bit as impressive as your beaded pages are! Fabulous idea . . .

Wow! I'm impressed. Fantastic. I was never that good at journaling.
I am totally inspired. I love these journals of the journey. I just bought the book Fabric Art Journals and have thought...should I do a journal page as a book to go with the barrettes. Glad to see that you did these as a group and that it is certainly a doable project.
I have also enjoyed seeing your BJP pages. I will miss it if you are not able to up load photos till you get back. If that happens I am sure there will be a feast for the eyes in December/January.
Almost all of the journalling for these is actaully coming from my blog entires for each piece, so the journalling part has been pretty easy.
I am glad that you are enjoying my journals, I wanted something that included some of the process, inspiration and personal journey for these pieces and thought the journals would be a good idea. I am enjoying the process of making them.
Sacred Artist: They are definitely a doable thing and would probably be a great idea for you barrettes. You could do a series of journals or do a longer book and do one for the whole year. You will have to let me know what you think of that book, I saw it and it looked interesting.
I will try my hardest to keep up on my blogs and will include photos if I can I am just not sure how it will go working on other people's computers.

You are such an artist, Angie! I love this whole approach to journaling... beads, paper, pen, paint, fabric, photos... impressions from the heart and thoughts from the mind... all together! Fabulous!
This could be of very great interest to a magazine such as Cloth, Paper, Scissors. I bet, if you sent them a few photos, that they'd offer you a feature article....
No pressure, however, I sense your plate is pretty full right now.
Sweet travels... R
WOW! Angie your work is beautiful! From the beading to the journalling...I just love how you are using mixed media! It will be such an interesting year to look back at!
